Public Speaking Coaching

The Stage Was Always
Yours to Own.

Stage fright is not a character flaw — it is a learnable skill in reverse. At LisMorient, every student who arrives unable to speak in class has been guided, step by systematic step, to a place where the stage becomes a source of energy rather than terror.

Where Students
Arrive vs Where
They Leave

A baseline assessment is conducted with every student in the first session. The same assessment is repeated at the 90-day mark. These are the average improvement percentages observed across LisMorient's public speaking cohort.

These numbers do not represent the best-case outcomes — they represent the average. Students who engage consistently and trust the process reliably exceed them.

The Programme

Five Levels.
One Complete Speaker.

The LisMorient public speaking programme is structured in five progressive levels — each building directly on the one before, and each clearing a specific barrier that holds students back.

Level 01

Understanding the Fear

The physiological and psychological roots of stage fright are explored — so students understand that nervousness is not a flaw but a redirectable energy. Knowing why the fear exists is the first step to dismantling it.

Level 02

Voice & Body Language

Posture, eye contact, hand gestures, and vocal projection are trained individually — because what is communicated without words accounts for more than 60% of how a speaker is perceived.

Level 03

Structured Speech Craft

The architecture of a compelling speech — opening hooks, logical flow, emotional peaks, and memorable closes — is taught through analysis of great speeches and original composition exercises.

Level 04

Small-Group Practice

Progressive exposure to real audiences begins in a safe, supportive small-group setting where honest, constructive feedback is exchanged and specific weaknesses are identified.

Level 05

Live Performance & Feedback

Full-length presentations, debates, and extempore sessions are conducted under conditions that mirror real-world settings — with detailed post-session feedback reports after each performance.

Skills Covered

Ten Skills.
One Complete Voice.

Public speaking is not a single skill — it is a constellation of ten distinct competencies, each of which is taught explicitly within the LisMorient programme.

Vocal Projection & Clarity
Stage Presence & Posture
Eye Contact & Audience Connect
Speech Structure & Flow
Extempore Speaking
Debate & Argumentation
Storytelling & Narrative

Voice Modulation & Pace

Competition Preparation is a Specialty

Students targeting school debates, elocution competitions, Model United Nations (MUN), TEDx Youth stages, and state-level competitions receive a specifically tailored track within the public speaking programme — including strategy, material development, structured rehearsals, and mock judging sessions.

Why LisMorient

Six Reasons Students
Find Their Voice Here

Fear-First Methodology

The root cause of the student's specific fear is identified before any practice begins. Solutions without diagnosis produce temporary results — LisMorient builds permanent confidence.

Safe-to-Fail Environment

Mistakes are not embarrassing at LisMorient — they are celebrated as data. A judgment-free environment is maintained so students take risks and discover what works for them.

Voice Coaching Included

Vocal tone, projection, pace, and modulation are coached explicitly — not assumed. Many students discover for the first time what their voice is genuinely capable of.

Video Feedback Sessions

Selected sessions are recorded with the student's consent and reviewed together — allowing self-observation, which is often the most powerful feedback mechanism available.

Real-World Contexts Practised

Speeches, debates, mock interviews, TEDx-style talks, and group discussions are all practised — not just one format. Real-world variety builds adaptable confidence.

Competition Preparation

Students aiming for school debates, elocution competitions, MUNs, or TEDx stages receive targeted preparation — with strategy, material development, and rehearsal support.

Student Stories

Words from the Stage

"My son used to pretend to be ill on debate days. After five months with LisMorient, he was the one reminding us of debate competitions so he wouldn't miss them. The change was not dramatic — it was methodical, patient, and permanent.

"The breakthrough happened in a session where I was asked to simply stand in front of a camera and say my name. It sounds simple — but it was the moment I realised the fear wasn't about speaking. It was about being seen. Once that was understood, everything changed.

"I was told by her school that my daughter needed speech therapy. LisMorient's diagnosis was different — she didn't have a speech problem, she had a confidence problem. Six months later, she performed in the school annual day to an audience of 800.
