The terms below govern the relationship between LisMorient and every family whose child is coached under our care. They have been written to be understood-not to confuse-and represent a mutual commitment to trust, transparency, and excellence.
By enrolling a student with LisMorient-whether through the online enquiry form, a phone call, a WhatsApp conversation, or any other channel-these Terms and Conditions are considered to have been read, understood, and accepted in full by the parent or guardian acting on behalf of the student.
No formal coaching engagement is entered into unless these terms are accepted. Where a parent or guardian is acting on behalf of a minor, they are confirming that they hold the legal authority to bind the student and themselves to the terms set out herein.
Scope of This Agreement
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is not agreed to, engagement with LisMorient's services should be discontinued and the team should be contacted to discuss alternative arrangements.
LisMorient is a bespoke academic coaching and educational consultancy. The services offered are deeply personalized-designed around each individual student's board, grade, learning style, and stated academic goals. No standardized or one-size-fits-all approach is applied.
Personalized tutoring for Grades 1–12 across CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and IB curricula in multiple languages.
Structured JEE and NEET preparation with mock test schedules, strategy sessions, and concept-clearing modules.
A professional roadmap is co-developed with the student to help identify and pursue the right career pathway.
Confidence, communication skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership qualities are nurtured through structured sessions.
Academic and conversational coaching is offered in English, Malayalam, and Hindi to serve diverse family backgrounds.
Weekly assessments and structured monthly progress reports ensure full transparency of academic advancement.
Service Scope Notice
LisMorient does not guarantee specific exam scores or university placements. What is guaranteed is the delivery of expert, personalized coaching by qualified educators-the outcomes of which are also shaped by the student's own consistent effort and engagement.
Session formats-online, in-home within Bangalore and Wayanad, and abroad via virtual platforms-are agreed upon at the time of enrollment and are subject to mutual confirmation before sessions commence.
All coaching fees are quoted individually and communicated clearly to each family prior to the commencement of any sessions. Fees are determined by factors including the student's grade, subject combination, session frequency, and delivery mode. A transparent fee structure is maintained with no hidden charges.
Payment Terms & Schedule
Consultation
The initial consultation session is offered completely free of charge with no obligation to proceed.
Fee Agreement
Fees are confirmed in writing before sessions begin. No coaching session is delivered without prior fee confirmation.
Advance Payment
Fees are collected on a monthly or per-package basis in advance. Payment is due before the first session of each billing cycle.
Accepted Methods
Payments are accepted via UPI, bank transfer, and other mutually agreed digital payment methods.

LisMorient is committed to maintaining a respectful, focused, and productive learning environment for every student. In return, it is expected that all students and their families uphold a standard of conduct that reflects the mutual respect central to this educational relationship.
Expectations from Students
Conduct That Is Not Permitted
Responsibility of Parents & Guardians
Parents and guardians are encouraged to remain involved in the student's learning journey. Where in-home sessions are conducted, a safe and distraction-free study environment should be ensured. LisMorient educators are committed to treating every home with full respect and professionalism.
All educational materials, lesson plans, worksheets, animated modules, assessment frameworks, and structured content developed and delivered by LisMorient remain the exclusive intellectual property of LisMorient. These materials are made available to students solely for the purpose of supporting their individual learning journey.
Protected Materials Include
No LisMorient materials may be copied, distributed, resold, published online, or shared with any other person or institution without prior written permission. This applies whether or not the material was received in digital or physical form.
Strictly Prohibited Uses
Uploading LisMorient materials to social media platforms, educational repositories, tutoring marketplaces, or sharing with other tutors, coaching centres, or students outside the enrolled household is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of services and legal recourse.
LisMorient is committed to delivering the highest standard of personalized academic coaching. However, the following limitations of liability are acknowledged and accepted as part of this agreement.
No Guarantee of Specific Outcomes
While every effort is made to support each student's academic success, LisMorient does not guarantee specific examination grades, admission results, or competitive exam rankings. Academic outcomes are jointly shaped by the coaching provided and the student's own sustained effort.
Third-Party Platform Disruptions
Where online sessions are conducted via third-party video platforms, LisMorient shall not be held liable for technical disruptions caused by internet connectivity issues, platform outages, or device failures beyond its direct control.
Force Majeure Events
LisMorient shall not be liable for any failure or delay in service delivery caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control-including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or public health emergencies.
Maximum Financial Liability
In all cases, LisMorient's maximum financial liability to any family shall not exceed the total fees paid by that family in the preceding 30 days of any claim. This limitation applies regardless of the nature of the claim.
Nothing in this limitation of liability section excludes or restricts any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Families retain all statutory rights available to them under Indian consumer protection legislation and applicable international equivalents.
Either party-the enrolled family or LisMorient-may choose to discontinue the coaching engagement. The circumstances and procedures for doing so are outlined transparently below to ensure that no family is ever left without clarity or recourse.
Transition Support
In all circumstances of termination-whether initiated by the family or by LisMorient-a reasonable transition period is honoured. A summary of the student's progress, pending topics, and suggested next steps may be requested at no additional charge within 30 days of the final session.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangalore, Karnataka. Where possible, all disputes will be resolved amicably through direct communication before any formal proceedings are initiated.
Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
Where families are based outside India, these terms remain governed by Indian law. International families are encouraged to reach out directly if any concern arises-resolution through conversation is always the preferred approach.
